An extraordinary year that has tested each and every one of us including myself. 2020, a journey like no other. Here are the lessons that I will be taking from this year.
Never give up. There is light at the end of the tunnel;
Be patient. It is not the ability to wait. It is the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting;
Friendship. Life will introduce you to new people and some people will leave you. Keep the friends that matter close to you and you will never be alone;
Listen. This is something I really struggle with. Before taking action, listen to everything, and evaluate.
Resist the rebellious attitude.
Something which I really need to work on in the years to come. This year was not easy, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic in the way. Some journeys opened while others closed. This is where I would like to thank all the people at 89.7 Bay, ONE.com.mt & Kanon Gaming who believed in me during my time at the respective companies. However, this year was characterized by some achievements:
The year I graduated from Bachelors in Communications (Honours) with European Studies;
The year I started a Masters of Science in Strategic Management and Digital Marketing;
The year I finished my journey at the Media & Knowledge Sciences Association as president;
The year I got my Advanced and Computer Nitrox diving license;
The year I started up my own little business called MD Media;
The year I started up my own blog on David Mallia;
The year I got my biggest client to date and sealed a contract;
The year I participated in UOM senate elections and got 750 votes;
The year I learned more about the I-gaming industryand how I really would like to go further in-depth in this field;
The year I was involved with an international film Jurassic World.
will be a new book, page & chapter in my life. A year filled with new challenges, new projects, adventures & friendships.
